Shewmaker Genetics offers premium racing pigeons from a number of carefully bred families. All breeding is done in individual breeding pens to insure that the genetic lines are separately maintained and that pedigrees are absolutely accurate. All of our families are subject to strict culling in response to continuous performance and progeny testing. We keep detailed and accurate records as well as carefully follow a complete health program. 90% of what we raise we test fly. The birds we offer for sale come from our top 25%. We will not sell a bird that we would not keep for ourselves. All birds sold for breeding come with a seven generation pedigree. With over forty years of animal breeding experience in multiple species, we believe our breeding program is one of the most advanced in the sport.
