Currently we maintain 12 Janssen sub-families, including a blended family. Over time, this number will be reduced as race data is accumulated. Current families include "The Brothers", Jan Kuijzer, Van Moorsel (Piet Valk), Smeulders, Jemal (Mexican), Calia, Vernazza, Lumachi, Hackemer Yellows, Van Herpen, 2034 and Janssen Blend.

General Usage:

An excellent general purpose line particularly well suited to the fast middle distance races. They cross very well with most families.

Characteristics:

Handle very nicely. Medium size.

Results To Date:

The Janssens are one of our key families. They have consistently proven their value in both the flying and breeding programs. The families that have been the most impressive to date in our operation are the Jan Kuijzer, Tini Van Herpen, the Brothers, 2034 and Yellows.
